Our History
In 1996, Frank Jones and Cory Visi began collaborating on how to provide information technology (IT) outsourcing services to the recruiting industry. Over the next few years, they worked together on numerous projects with unique computing, networking, and database applications. In 2003, they decided to expand the business to small and medium sized businesses, not for profit organizations, government entities, remote offices of larger companies, and even individuals.
In 2007, as business continued to expand, a new emphasis on the convergence of voice and data emerged. Over the past few years, the company has had a strong focus on providing VoIP solutions to small and medium sized businesses, a service previously available only to large businesses. At GCInfotech, we believe that all companies, small or large, should have access to high quality, customizable and reliable voice over IP systems.
In 2012, Jim Duffy joined the GCInfotech team as Co-Managing Partner to oversee and coordinate business operations, finance, marketing and sales relationships and the delivery of services to clients. His team is focused on providing services to help clients manage business performance and sustain improvement through the use of advanced technology. Jim is a recognized financial executive in service development and the management of complex information technology projects for a variety of service industries and has more than 30 years of experience across the spectrum of private and public companies, including Vertrue, Medco, Linens and Things, PWC and most recently, Oakleaf.
